Jennifer Aniston was granted a restraining order Tuesday against a stalker, described by her lawyers as "violent" and "delusional," who was arrested outside her Hollywood Hills home last week.

Jason R. Peyton, 24, was detained last week after he spent days trying to find Aniston, 41, on Sunset Boulevard. On him: A sharp object, duct tape and love notes to the actress.
"Mr. Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life," she said in a signed court declaration.
He is now required to stay away from the home, work and car of the actress. The court documents describe Peyton as “obsessed” and “delusional.” A hearing will be held on August 9, but until then, the Los Angeles police have placed Peyton on psychiatric hold against his will. He has previously been accused of stalking and ignored court orders that mandate he stay on anti-psychotic medications.
Aniston's lawyers described Peyton as "an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker - with a history of violence and criminal stalking - who drove cross-country in his delusional 'mission' to locate and marry (Aniston), with whom he believes he is in a relationship."
Peyton also believes he is related to numerous celebrities including Oprah, Jay-Z, Donald Trump, Courteney Cox, Nelson Mandela and Jennifer Lopez, according to the documents.

The third Twilight flick, "Eclipse," hits theaters on Wednesday. The film is popular enough to be review-proof, but that hasn't stopped the nation's critics from chiming in with their thoughts on whether "Eclipse" is worth squealing over.
Most critics can't help comparing "Eclipse" to the saga's first two flicks, "Twilight" (2008) and "New Moon" (2009). The Hollywood Reporter's Kirk Honeycutt was impressed with the third film, writing, "the teen vampire series finally hits its stride with an entertaining mix of romance and action fantasy."

OPRAH Winfrey has been named the world’s most powerful celebrity.
This year, Oprah Winfrey is back atop the list for the fourth time.
The TV star — who fronts The Oprah Winfrey Show and is the president of media company Harpo Productions — has topped the annual Most Powerful Celebrity poll conducted by Forbes magazine, knocking Angelina Jolie off the top spot with earnings of $315 million last year.

Winfrey was followed by singer Beyonce Knowles, "Avatar" director James Cameron, newcomer Lady Gaga and disgraced golfer Tiger Woods.
The Forbes Most Powerful Celebrity list looks at wealth, TV/radio popularity, press rank, web rank and social status — with even Twitter followers being taken into consideration.
The 2010 poll placed Twilight star Robert Pattinson on the list for the first time, in 50th position following the success of the vampire movies, and after earning $17 million last year.
Despite a tumultuous year in her personal life, Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock was placed eighth in the poll after pocketing $56 million in the past 12 months. She was just behind golfer Tiger Woods, who was placed fifth, Britney Spears, sixth, and rock band U2 — consisting of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. — who were placed seventh.

Megan Fox's publicist confirmed Tuesday the actress married her longtime beau, actor Brian Austin Green, in Hawaii during the weekend.

The 24-year-old sex symbol wed her longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, 36, in Hawaii June 24, according to their reps. Green's 8-year-old son, Kassius, attended the small, private ceremony held at the Four Seasons hotel on Hawaii's Big Island.
It is the first marriage for both Green and Fox, who recently go re-engaged at the same hotel on June 1. Though some reports said they had called off their first engagement four years ago, Fox told reporters earlier this month that they'd been engaged this whole time. She also, however, swore that she and Green wouldn't get married for "years."
The couple, who have tattoos of each other's names and share custody of a potbellied pig, dogs, two cats, two birds and a squirrel, first met in 2004 on the set of "Hope & Faith" and have dated on and off ever since. Fox has been vocal about her preference for older men. "Boys in their 20s are a waste of time," she explained to Elle. "They have nothing to offer conversationally. They're immature. I feel like I have a better shot with someone in his 30s."

Sandra Bullock and love rat Jesse James have finalised their divorce, marking the end of their five year marriage.
The 45-year-old actress first filed for divorce in April, stating that the couple's nearly five-year marriage had become "insupportable" following reports of infidelity by James.

The reason for the split was citied as a 'discord or conflict of personalities' as the official divorce settlement allows Bullock to complete the adopting of her son Louis as a single parent.
Sandra adopted the child from New Orleans with Jesse before he was outed as a cheat for starting an 11 month affair with heavily tattooed model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee.
Jesse recently broke his silence on their split claiming: "There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."

Lady GaGa debuted a new song called You And I at Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara ball last week.
"This is a brand-new record that no one's ever heard before ... ever," she said while seated at one of her signature deconstructed pianos and wearing a bedazzled black bra and panties with black boots. "And I've never, ever played it live, ever."

On her Twitter, she described "You and I" as a "new song ... written in NY on the piano I grew up on."
She wasn't kidding about the song having a rock edge, as the tune eschewed most of her dance flavor, right down to a rollicking barrelhouse piano solo, during which she stood up on the piano bench and bashed out some John-worthy runs on the black and whites. She finished the tune crouched on the bench, wailing, "You and I," while pumping her fist, before giving it a big finish that included kicking a heel up on the keyboard and lying across the piano bench with her head on the ground.

Gaga also took the stage in a wheelchair with her chest covered in fake blood and accompanied by an oiled-up male dancer for a run through "Alejandro," and she performed her ballad "Speechless." During the latter, John came out and joined her for a dueling-pianos showdown, trading off verses on the tune dedicated to Gaga's dad and then reprising their Grammys duet with a snippet of his hit "Your Song," during which he improvised the line, "I hope you don't mind that I wrote down in words/ How wonderful life is with Gaga in the world."

June 15 /PRNewswire/ Dearly Beloved on June 27 we will gather at the Shrine Auditorium and mark the 10 year anniversary of the hottest award show in cable television, the BET AWARDS. This year, BET will honor the musical legacy and genius that is Prince as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, an honor bestowed to the most significant and influential individuals in music history.

The 52-year-old Minneapolis native was feted Sunday night at the BET Awards in the Los Angeles with an all-female musical tribute.

In a purple button-up, black slacks and vest, Trey sang his recent hit "Yo Side of the Bed" atop a stage bathed in purple lights. The track's video, featuring Keri Hilson as a military officer and Trey as her mourning husband after she's killed in the line of duty, played in the background on large screens. During the performance, Trey gave a shout-out to all who've lost a special someone.

Janelle Monae offered an energetic take on "Let's Go Crazy." Jazz musician Esperanza Spalding accompanied herself on standup bass for "If I Was Your Girlfriend." Alicia Keys started behind the piano, then climbed on top of it, when she sang "Adore," and Patti LaBelle kicked off her shoes to give her all to "Purple Rain."

The singer then launched into the first verse of Prince's 1984 classic "Purple Rain" from the film of the same name. As Trey strained to hit falsetto notes almost on his knees, the camera cut to Prince himself seated in the audience looking on.

"We are humbled that Prince will be our lifetime achievement award recipient," said Stephen G. Hill, President of Programming, Music and Specials. "Genre smasher, virtuoso musician, one of the most emotional singers of all time; words are too weak to describe just what he means to our culture. We have a different kind of tribute planned for him as his unique style deserves a unique honor. Prince is dynamic. Prince is genius. Prince is music."

Earlier in the evening, the Virginia native won the award for Best Male R&B Artist and brought his mother onstage with him to accept his trophy. Following the awards show, BET will debut Trey's documentary "My Moment," which follows the singer during Jay-Z's recent Blueprint 3 Tour.

Prince started recording in 1977 and has 10 platinum albums and 30 Top 40 singles to his name.
