Selena Gomez was born on 22th July 1992 in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA. She grew up in Texas and got her first break as a cast member on the kids TV show Barney and Friends. Gomez landed minor roles in several other TV programs, but it was her affiliation with the Disney Channel -- who discovered her during a nation0-wide talent search in 2004 -- that officially jumpstarted her acting career.

The Suite Life of Zach and Cody and Hannah Montana paved the way for Gomez's own show,The Wizards of Waverly Place, which premiered in October 2007 and quickly became one of the network's most popular programs.

She began branching out into pop music by recording songs for her own Disney projects. She sang the theme song for Wizards of Waverly Place, recorded several other tunes for the the show's soundtrack, and performed on the soundtrack of the family film Another Cinderella Story.

The band's full-length debut, Kiss & Tell, was released that year and went gold, as did its 2010 follow-up, A Year Without Rain. Gomez continued filming The Wizards of Waverly Place and made her theatrical debut in the 2010 film adaptation of Ramona and Beezus, but her music gathered just as much attention, as did a highly publicized relationship with fellow teen idol Justin Bieber.

Jennifer Lopez was born on 24th July 1969, in the Bronx borough of New York City to Puerto Rican parents Guadalupe Rodríguez and David López. The family was devoutly Roman Catholic and instilled a strict work ethic in the children. They also stressed the need to speak English and assimilate into American culture.

When she was a teenager, Jennifer spent much of her time sneaking out to meet her first love, David Cruz, whom she was with from ages 16 to 25. She attended Catholic school and was a good student and natural athlete. From the age of 16, she financed her own singing and dancing lessons.

After auditioning for countless gigs, she landed a guest spot on the American Music Awards. After that, she became a "Fly Girl" for the television show “In Living Color” in 1990, after being rejected twice. Because of tension with another dancer, she left the show after her second season.

In April, The Learning Channel announced that Lopez and Anthony had signed on to do a reality show. The show, which is under development and has no launch date yet, will "deliver a slice of [Lopez's] life that audiences have never seen before, as she takes on her career and launches a new fragrance while trying to juggle her new responsibilities as a first-time mom," TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes said.

Gloria Estefan was born on 1st September 1957 in, Havana, Cuba. She is early years were not easy. Her father Jose was among the Cuban exiles who participated in the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion, the unsuccessful attempt to oust Castro from power. Jose spent a year and a half in a Cuban prison, and during this time Gloria and her mother lived in a Cuban ghetto near the Orange Bowl in Miami.

Misfortune continued to follow her dad. He was badly poisoned by the defoliant, Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. When her mother went out to make a living, Gloria had to act as nurse and tend to her invalid father. Her one source of comfort was the guitar she had been given when she was 12. She would sing to herself the Top 40 tunes of the day, alone in her room for hours on end.

In 1975, at the urging of her mother, Gloria sang some songs at a wedding which was being entertained by a local party band, The Miami Latin Boys. The band leader, Emilio Estefan, was so impressed by her smooth alto voice that he hounded her to join his band. She reluctantly agreed, but only to sing on weekends. No longer all boys, the band was rechristened The Miami Sound Machine.

She needed 400 stiches to close the 14-inch incision. But within one year of the accident she was performing on stage again. During that time of excruciating pain, Gloria received thousands of letters, telegrams and floral arrangements from well wishers. In 1992 she was able to return the favor by organizing a benefit concert (Hurricane Relief) which raised three million dollars for the victims of Hurricane Andrew.

Abeautiful blonde celebrity has been making cameo appearances in a downtown courtroom. The woman is Anna Nicole Smith, a one-time Playboy model who died in 2007 of a drug overdose. Those on trial are her former lawyer-boyfriend and two doctors, all charged with conspiring to give her excessive prescription drugs while knowing she was an addict.

The busty bombshell who sometimes slurred her words and appeared drugged. Who was she in life? Even her name was a mystery. Was she Vickie Marshall, Anna Nicole Smith, Michelle Chase, Susie Wong, Jane Brown or a number of other pseudonyms used to fill prescriptions? Was Smith a drug addict or a woman beset by so much pain from various ailments that she sought relief in medicine bottles?

Apliant victim drugged into semiconsciousness by others or a strong-willed woman who told people what to do? The jury of six women and six men will ponder those questions when the case is submitted to them, possibly next week.Superior Court Judge Robert Perry has harshly criticized the prosecution for "overreaching" and indicated he will bar some charges.

The way this case is charged and being prosecuted," he told Deputy District Attorney Renee Rose. "If you're going to accuse someone, you should have some evidence.I would hope that a prosecutor would be intent on finding the truth, not just a conviction. Now, Perry has presented both sides with a 15-page document he labeled "Thoughts," asking 50 different questions about the charges.

What evidence shows that Anna Nicole Smith took drugs to get high or obtain a euphoric state and not to relieve pain?

Dr. Perry G. Fine, clearly impressed the judge. Fine testified that even if Smith was prescribed 1,500 pills in one month for pain, it did not mean she was an addict — that clinical factors had to be considered as well as her high tolerance for opiates and sedatives.Perry sees this as central to the case and advised jurors: The number of pills is not a determinative factor in this case.

Smith's homes after she died. Much of the prosecution's case has been a laundry list of powerful medications, including Methadone, Dilaudid, Demarol, Valium, Xanax and Chloral Hydrate. Pharmacists testified about being shocked at the number of medications prescribed and one said he refused to fill.

Smith suffered from chronic pain syndrome, seizures, fractured ribs, migraine headaches, insomnia and severe back pain, as well as depression after the death of her son, Daniel. But I can see why he is concerned, she said.Even the (California) legislature has expressed concern that these statutes might be used in a way that would chill doctors from treating pain.

Veteran lawyers Steve Sadow, Ellyn Garafalo and Brad Brunon — recently made a surprise announcement that they will call no further witnesses after the prosecution rests. They say the case against their clients has not been proven.

Perry, who said he has researched the legislative intent behind the relevant laws, said he may tell jurors that to convict the defendants of prescribing to an addict they must find the prescriptions were for "non-therapeutic purposes," meaning to feed an addiction rather than treat an illness.

Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich have pleaded not guilty to an array of charges, including conspiracy to provide excessive controlled substances, prescribing to an addict, and obtaining drugs by fraud — some prescribed under false names.

Examined every prosecution witness and the judge said they succeeded in destroying the credibility of several, including two nannies flown in from the Bahamas. Sadow accused one of them of outright perjury. The prosecution summoned up Smith's video images to suggest she was addicted — showing her at the American Music Awards.

He asked whether nine prosecution witnesses should be considered accomplices and jurors should be warned to treat their testimony with caution. These included pharmacists and doctors who prescribed to Smith under pseudonyms, a common practice with celebrities.A former federal prosecutor of drug cases, said this case was overcharged and Perry will probably pare it down to the bare minimum he feels can be supported by law.

Prosecutors used photos of Smith naked in a tub with Eroshevich and pictures of Kapoor kissing Smith after riding with her in a gay parade to show that the doctors blurred the line of their professional relationship with Smith.

Monday on dismissal motions, but indicated some charges will likely survive in some form.He wants arguments to be limited to two issues: whether Smith was an addict and whether prescriptions.

Convictions could send a message that would inhibit doctors from prescribing pain medications and treating celebrities. They will feel that big brother is looking over their shoulder, she said. And even though we do want monitoring to keep the public safe.

Hollywood actress Paris Hilton will be getting a little something in the mail from Hallmark this year. The socialite has settled a lawsuit against the company over a greeting card that featured a scene seemingly ripped from her old reality show "The Simple Life."

The caption read "Paris's First Day as a Waitress" and made a pun on her trademarked catch phrase, "That's Hot." In 2007, Hilton sued, claiming her publicity rights had been violated.Last week, attorneys for Hilton and Hallmark advised a California judge that they had reached a settlement. A confidentiality provision limits the release of exact terms.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which handed Hilton a huge legal victory last year. The appeals court rejected Hallmark's protected-speech argument and raised doubts that the greeting card was "transformative" expression.

The two sides have been preparing for a December trial. Evidence was being collected to ascertain the commercial value of Hilton's endorsement.Hilton's name will be stamped in law review articles discussing the tricky balance between publicity rights and the First Amendment-but we may never know exactly.

Despite all of the rumors that she’s pregnant, it looks like the only baby Kim Kardashian is going to be having is a food one. According to People Magazine, the romance between the almost-30-year-old reality star and her boyfriend of 4 months, Dallas Cowboys football player Miles Austin, is over, and we’re guessing that Kim is getting over the break-up by finding solace in high-fat food.

A inside source to the magazine about the supposedly mutual break-up. "With his season and Kim's filming [Keeping Up with the Kardashians] it just slowly split them apart." Is Kim Kardashian Pregnant?

The couple reportedly called it quits right before Kim left for Europe. But, in case you were thinking that this was just some summer-time fling, the source adds:They tried to keep it as low profile as possible when they were together. They were acting as if they were single or just having fun, but they never were – it was the real deal. They were always strong, but before Kim left for Europe they decided it's not fair that they don't get to spend more time together and ended it.

So who will Kim date next? Since she’s currently in Italy and due back in the U.S. on Thursday, there might not be enough time for her to meet a charming, Italian soccer player and be snapped holding hands with him before she leaves Europe. Although, given that she’s about to turn 30, maybe she’s actually started to listen to the family members who have reportedly been urging her to give up on dating athletes and has been looking for just a regular.

Athletes just aren't a good long-term investment. Then again, Khloe Kardashian is married to basketball player Lamar Odom, so maybe Kim should just turn stay away from football fields and start meeting her guys courtside.

Snooki Denied might be in the market for another nickname soon. When she tried to trademark her ever so famous name, she was denied. And it's all because of a fictional cat!

No last name needed. In fact, it's much more likely you'll know "Snooki" by her nickname than by her real name, Nicole Polizzi. And since Snooki wants to use her name in "entertainment in the nature of personal appearances by a television personality.

In 2004 a book was written called Adventures of Snooky. Check out the photo we found of the book that stole Snooki's chance at a trademark below. It's about a cat who falls into the water while on a fishing expedition.

The SmokingGun.com, the US Patent and Trademark Office denied Snooki's request, citing, "The terms SNOOKY and SNOOKI are very similar. Therefore, given the similarity of marks and identity of goods.

Will Snooki change her name or just go on without the trademark? We have a feeling Snooki is pretty jealous of The Situation right now. After all, was able to get his name trademarked. And he had tons of good news come his way this week.

Lindsay Lohan was taken into custody on Tuesday to start a 90-day jail term for violating her probation on a 2007 drunk-driving and cocaine-possession charge.

Lohan arrived about 10 minutes late and was accompanied by attorney Shawn Chapman Holley and her mother.
The 24-year-old has been free on bail since missing a court hearing in May for a 2007 drug and alcohol case.
Revel sentenced Lohan two weeks ago after ruling that the "Mean Girls" actress had again failed to complete weekly alcohol education classes imposed in 2007. Lohan must also attend a 90-day residential rehabilitation program on her release from jail.
Lohan, wearing a grey T-shirt, looked tired and tense at the brief court hearing. She did not speak.
Her stay will be longer than the 84 minutes she spent at a suburban Los Angeles jail in 2006 and marks the beginning of a new phase of punishment for drug and alcohol cases filed that year.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel sentenced the "Mean Girls" star to jail, three months in rehab and increased scrutiny by probation officials on July 6 after determining the actress violated her probation by missing seven alcohol education classes since December.

Lindsay Lohan didn't have alcohol in her system when her SCRAM bracelet went off earlier this month at an MTV Awards afterparty, according to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.

E! News has exclusively learned that a court-ordered urine sample, submitted by Lohan just hours after her SCRAM bracelet set off an alert in the wee hours of June 7, came back negative.
American actress Lindsay Lohan Cleared in SCRAM Bracelet Incident
"They did a urinalysis through Medtox labs and it was indicated conclusively that there was no alcohol in her system at that time," says a source with knowledge of the test results.
Lohan, 23, remains free on $200,000 bail -- a new amount which the judge set in her case on June 8 after the SCRAM alert. Lohan remains subject to weekly random drug testing and must abstain from alcohol.
The actress still faces a probation violation hearing on July 6. She could get up to six months in jail if a judge determines that she hasn't fully complied with her probation terms.

American actress and model Lindsay Lohan and Scottish actor Gerard James Butle whilst partying in Monaco. The Sex and the City stars have inhabited Morocco, and they're not the only celebs there. Turns out dozens of personalities turned up Saturday night for the all-expenses-paid opening of the exclusive Mazagan Resort in the Moroccan city El Jadida. Among them? Lindsay Lohan and Gerard Butler, who, after a few dozen glasses of Veuve Clicquot champagne, are said to have hooked up, that's what witnesses say.

Lindsay Lohan, 23, and Gerard Butler, 39, flirted and canoodled all evening at the $3.5 million hotel's Sancturary bar, then they reportedly slipped away together on a golf cart. Before they made their exit Lindsay's quoted telling reporters from a British newspaper, "He's hot, he's mine! I've got no ring on my finger so I'm going to have lots of fun. This is the most romantic place in the world."
Other sources say Gerard Butler was hitting on lots of different women that night and that he and Lindsay only danced together...but still...an odd pair to see getting cozy. However according to reports about the party's atmosphere, it's no shock they were feeling the fire. Witnesses say 50 Arabian horses lined the entrance and attendees could pose for photos with live snakes and monkeys. There was a major fireworks extravaganza, as well as 100,000 candles adorning the outdoor pool area and petals from 100,000 red and white roses were scattered around the premises.

Guy Ritchie and Naomi Campell were among other celebrity partygoers.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel has ordered Lindsay Lohan to a Beverly Hills court this morning to check her progress on a drunk driving case.

The court appearance stems from a 2007 incident in which she crashed her car on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills and was arrested for driving under the influence.

She eventually agreed to a plea bargain that called for probation, time in a treatment program and community service. The judge's order was made during a routine progress report hearing on Wednesday.
Court records show that no warrant has been issued, and they do not reflect a probation violation has occurred.
Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha N. Revel scheduled the hearing to examine how Lohan, 23, is complying with the sentence.

It's unclear whether the judge believes Lohan is in violation of the sentence. She spent 84 minutes in jail. It is unclear why Lohan has been ordered to appear.

Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine advertisements and television commercials. Her video watch here
