Koel Mallick is the daughter of Bengali actor Ranjit Mallick. Her real name is Rukmini, but she prefers to use her nick-name in films too. She studied psychology in Gokhale College in Kolkata.

She debuted with ‘Nater Guru’ (2003), directed by Haranath Chakraborty. She was noticed with her first film. In 2004, she was also considered to play opposite Aryaman in Rajkumar Santoshi's Hindi film, 'Family'. But the character was removed at a scripting level when the film was getting too lengthy.

Expressive, beautiful and blessed with a natural star appeal, Koel is an Odissi dancer as well. With in a short span of time she became one of the most happening stars in the Bengali film industry. She also acted in supporting roles in popular films like 'Yuddho', 'M. L. A. Fatakeshto', 'Minister Fatakeshto', 'Chander Bari' etc.

In 2008 she had five releases, all romantic films, most of which became hits. In mid 2008, she commented on the casting couch in Bengali cinema and received strong criticism from other actresses, especially arch rival Swastika Mukherjee and Rachana Banerjee.

Carey Mulligan was born on 28th May 1985 in London, England. The British actress won global acclaim for her Oscar-nominated portrayal of teenage wild child Jenny Miller in the coming-of age-drama An Education. She landed the role, based on the autobiographic memoir of British journalist Lynn Barber, after praise for her acting debut as Kitty Bennett in Pride & Prejudice in 2005.

For the following eight years she and her brother lived in a series of upmarket hotels and was educated at the International School of Düsseldorf in Germany before returning to the UK where she went to Woldingham School in Surrey. After an early interest in the academic side of school, Mulligan - who admits she had been quite "strait-laced" - became more interested in acting after seeing her brother perform in a school production of The King.

Her mother, who had taken her from the age of fourteen to see Broadway shows while in New York, enouraged her to study at Reading University in England. However, Mulligan claims that, before she began professionally acting, she had once "secretly" applied to and been rejected by three drama schools on her university application form.Passing up on the opportunity to go to university, she met screenwriter and producer Julian Fellowes who introduced her to a casting agent who was looking for an unknown to star in Pride & Prejudice.

Less successfully, she appeared in The Greatest starring alongside Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon, playing a pregnant girlfriend, but the film struggled to get a distributor. However, it was the role of 16-year-old Jenny in An Education - given to the actress when she was 22 - that got her noticed with Golden Globe, BAFTA and Oscar nominations for best actress.Subsequent appearances have included the widow of an American soldier killed in Afghanistan in the US remake of the Scandinavian drama Brothers.

Charlize Theron was born on 7th August 1975, in rural Benoni, South Africa, to co-owners of a road construction company, Charles and Gerda. The Afrikaans-speaking family lived on a working farm outside of Johannesburg, and although Theron's childhood chores included tending livestock, her passion for dance became evident early on. To foster her artistic leanings, Theron began ballet lessons at age six.

As Charles struggled with alcoholism, he became physically abusive. In 1991, when Theron was 15, her father violently attacked her and her mother. Theron watched as Gerda shot and killed Charles; the murder was deemed an act of self-defense, and Gerda was never charged with a crime. In the wake of the death, Gerda assumed ownership of the company, and Theron concocted the long-standing story.

In 1994, a destitute Theron argued with a bank teller, who refused to allow her to pull funds from a South African account. Theron's subsequent fit earned the attention of a fellow bank patron John Crosby, a Hollywood manager who represented talent including John Hurt and Rene Russo. He immediately offered to sign Theron and, within months, she made her acting debut in a small role in Children of the Corn III (1995).

The Cider House Rules with Tobey Maguire. In 2001, she reteamed with Reeves for the tearjerker Sweet November, and two years later she starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the heist thriller The Italian Job (2003). However, her performance in 2003's Monster—a biopic about serial killer Aileen Wuornos—earned her widespread respect. Theron gained close to 40 pounds for the role, and her gritty, gripping performance won her both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

Gwen Stefani was born on 3rd October 1969, in Orange County, California. Growing up in Southern California with brothers Todd and Eric where they were raised by parents Dennis and Patti Gwen was highly influenced by the rising popularity of ska and punk that was making its presence felt in the So Cal area.

Stefani recorded her first solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in 2004. The album was primarily inspired by music of the 1980s, and emerged an international success with sales of over seven million. The album's third single "Hollaback Girl" became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. Stefani's second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006) yielded "Wind It Up", a moderate worldwide success, and "The Sweet Escape". Including her work with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.

Eric Stefani, Gwen's brother left the band after the release of Tragic Kingdom to persue a career of his own and was replaced by Phil Jordan and Gabe McNair who went on tour with the band. She used to date bass player in the band Tony Kanal. When they broke up she wrote the hit single "Don't Speak" in memory of their relationship. She wears a necklace with the letter "G" on it representing her boyfriend Gavin Rosedale's initial.

She is still romantically linked with the lead singer of Bush, Gavin Rossdale, and the rock star pair have been involved for at least 5 years. But the spunky singer paired up with Moby to add her infectious voice to his single, "South Side". No doubt about it, the self-proclaimed Sound of Music fanatic brings a girly yet powerful spark to the group, and the music industry.

Just after two months, the big screen pair has called off their romance, Us Weekly reported. He only wanted something casual, but she's in a rush to settle down, have kids and start a family since she's getting older," a mag source claimed.

Star, 34, reportedly initiated the split with the 36-year-old actress. She did not take it very well when he broke it off. She knows deep down that it wouldn't have worked, but she is pretty bummed out about it all," the source continued.

The pair's busy work schedules were also to blame for their romance ending. They're both too busy, a friend of the "Prometheus" actress told the mag. And they were hardly ever together anyway.Ryan and Charlize's romance was first reported in July after the actor's motorcycle was spotted at Charlize's house and he was spotted exiting the home just moments before the actress.

In June, Charlize appeared on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" where she said she was single. She also noted that she was looking for a serious relationship, but not necessarily marriage.I really want for myself a long-term relationship, and I have been in long-term relationships," she said at the time. "That's the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people.I treat my relationships like marriages.

Gabrielle Reece was born on 6th January 1970 in La Jolla, California and raised in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She returned to the U.S. mainland for the eleventh grade, when she took up sports. She accepted a volleyball scholarship from the Florida State University, where she majored in communications, and in volleyball she led the league in kills four times and blocks once.

In 1989, she moved to New York City to pursue more rigorously a parallel career as a sports fashion model and also continue in her pro volleyball career. In 1997, she was selected for induction into the Florida State University Athletic Hall of Fame. Reece set two school volleyball records in solo blocks (240) and total blocks (747), both of which still stand. FSU inducted Reece into the Florida State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1997.

She trained hard to hone her skills in 2-person beach volleyball and competed domestically in the 1999-2000 Olympic Challenge Series and the 1999-2000 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. In 1997, competing with the best global beach volleyball players ever assembled, Gabby’s 4-person team took first place at the first-ever Beach Volleyball World Championships.

She also appeared as a guest on Extreme Makeover Home Edition and America's Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show. In 2007, Reece and her husband Laird Hamilton, appeared in the ABC reality television series Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race, featuring a dozen celebrities in a stock car racing competition. In the first round of competition, she matched up against the former NFL coach Bill Cowher and the actor William Shatner.

Lea Michele was born on 29th August 1986, in Bronx, New York.Sarfati discovered her passion for performing at an early age. Growing up in Tenafly, New Jersey, she was drawn to nearby New York City's vibrant theater scene. At the age of 8, Michele landed the role of young Cosette in the Broadway production of Les Miserables.

Michele moved on to another Broadway production, Ragtime, in 1995. She played the Little Girl, the quiet daughter of a Jewish immigrant. The cast included such well-known Broadway talents as Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell. She landed another break in 2004 with a role in a revival of Fiddler on the Roof starring Alfred Molina.

The production depicts a group of German teenagers who explore their sexuality. Michele had to handle some serious and sometimes explicit material in her role as Wendla. "I'm in a see-through nightgown and in a beating scene," she explained to WWD. Wendla becomes involved with Melchoir (played by Jonathan Groff) with disastrous results. Off stage, the two performers became best friends.

The role of an ambitious teenager who dreams of stardom appears to be a good fit for the actress. "Rachel is me when I was that age. She knows what she loves and who she is. She doesn't get caught up in what other people think is important," Michele told New York magazine. Her portrayal of Rachel earned Michele her first Emmy Award nomination in 2010.

Mary Helgenberger was born on 16th November 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska, USA.After making her feature debut as an all-night answering service operator in the mediocre anthology thriller "After Midnight", Helgenberger had a small role in Steven Spielberg's engaging fantasy "Always" (both 1989). But her bread-and-butter through the 90s were TV-movies and miniseries, many of which were made for the Lifetime Channel.

In Sickness and in Health" (1992) offered her the plum role of Mickey, the lusty caretaker who befriends her charge (Lesley Ann Warren) suffering from multiple sclerosis, only to betray that trust by sleeping with her husband (Tom Skerritt). Her leading role in "The Cowboy Way" (1994) offered Helgenberger some feature exposure, as did "Species" (1995) and its regrettable 1998 sequel "Species II", "My Fellow American" (1996) and "Fire Down Below" (1997), but nothing about her work in these films would erase perceptions of her as a TV actress.

Helgenberger began an association with Showtime which would include Peter Weller's "Partners" (1994, from the "Directed By" series), "Conundrum" (1996), "Elmore Leonard's Gold Coast" (1997), "Thanks of a Grateful Nation" (1998) and "Happy Face Murders" (1999). Excellent as the sex-starved widow of "Gold Coast", in which she rejoined Weller, she delivered arguably her best performance as the sister of a veteran felled by Gulf War Syndrome in the critically-acclaimed "Thanks of a Grateful Nation".

She was equally terrific in NBC's "Murder Live!" (1997) as shallow talk-show host Pia Postman and "Perfect Town, Perfect Murder" (2000), a thoughtful CBS miniseries look into the killing of JonBenet Ramsey. That year also found her in her biggest feature success to date, playing the woman whose medical condition leads Julia Roberts to uncover evidence of corporate wrongdoing in Steven Soderbergh's "Erin Brockovich". She appeared next in the critically acclaimed comedy-drama by PaulWeitz.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are having the time of their lives in Hawaii. With Theroux's 40th birthday on August 10, the couple touched down in paradise on Sunday on a trip that Aniston's Wanderlust costar originally planned with Heidi Bivens, his former longtime girlfriend.

On Monday evening, they shopped for gifts and checked out antique artifacts and jewelry for half an hour at the Lotus Gallery. "They were the only people in the store and seemed extremely relaxed and happy," a source says of the giggling pair. "Jennifer was hugging Justin from behind. When they left the store, Jennifer was massaging Justin's shoulders from behind, and he turned around and said something that made her laugh hysterically," the insider says. "They seemed giddy in love and genuinely happy together."Later that night, wrapped Buddha statue in hand, they headed to Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor's estate for Taylor's 40th birthday bash.

Jennifer hung out with Christine but never got too far from Justin. They seemed to have a good time but didn't stay too long before they headed back to their house for the night," the source adds.On Tuesday, they left their rented house in a Jeep for a lunchtime treat -- buying a roadside coconut from a local woman, according to a source. Later in the day, Theroux went for a brisk half-hour jog through the fields surrounding their posh vacation digs.

Leighton Meester's life these days isn't that unlike a storyline on an episode of her hit show. The actress and singer is suing her mother, Constance, for spending the money Meester sent for the care of her younger siblings. The "Country Strong" actress is now suing her mother, alleging that her mother is using the $7,500 she sent a month "... to pay for cosmetic procedures for herself, including plastic surgery on her face and stomach, botox injections for her face.

Her mother countersued, alleging that her daughter broke a contract to pay her mother $30,000 plus an additional $10,000 a month for health insurance premiums and other expenses. Her mother has somewhat of a shady past: the 25-year-old actress was born in a federal prison, thanks to her mother's involvement in an international drug smuggling ring.Meester can take peace in the fact that the addition of money has complicated many relationships -- and plenty of celebrities have sued their parents before her.

LeAnn Rimes might be a happy wife now, but her family life was far from peaceful back in 2000. During that time, the singer and actress filed suit against her father, Wilbur Rimes, and her former manager, Lyle Walker, for stealing her cash."It would appear that her father didn't always act in a fatherly way to her," her attorney Tom Rhodus told The Dallas Morning News after the suit was filed. Rimes alleged that her father and manager stole millions of her hard-earned dollars; her father counter-sued, alleging that she overspent her money.

"I go by the saying, 'Money's the root of all evil.' And I definitely believe that the love for money is the root of all evil, because it changes people," Rimes told ABC News in 2005. "I was being called a spoiled brat by some people. But, you know, people don't know me."Eventually father and daughter fixed their relationship -- and he even walked her down the aisle when she got married to her first husband, Dean Sheremet."I've never hated my dad. I just wanted a dad. I guess I just really disliked where he was in my life. I just wanted him to be my father," she said at the time.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is making millions as a star of MTV's "Jersey Shore." Of course, people start to come out of the woodwork when there's money -- and Sorrentino's estranged father is that person in his life. The reality star filed a suit against his father in May to keep Frank Sorrentino from using his name and likeness on his person website. The elder Sorrentino posted negative videos of his son after the ab-flasher refused to give his dad money.

Mariah Carey was born on 27th March 1970, in Long Island, New York to Alfred Roy Carey, a Venezuelan aeronautical engineer; and Patricia Carey, a voice coach and opera singer. Has two older siblings: a brother, Morgan, and a sister, Alison. Carey is known as one of the top “pop divas” of the 1990s, having sold more than eighty million albums worldwide.

She stunned her mother by imitating her operatic singing as early as age two, and was given singing lessons starting at age four. After graduating in 1987 from Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, New York, Carey moved to Manhattan where she worked as a waitress, coat check girl, and studied cosmetology while writing songs and actively pursuing a music career at night.

Her next album Music Box (1993) cut back a bit on the lavish studio production techniques heard in her previous albums, and included the No. 1 singles, “Dreamlover” and “Hero.” Her November 1994 release Merry Christmas combined traditional Christian hymns with new songs. In 1995 she released Daydream; the first single “Fantasy” debuted at No. 1. It also included collaborations with R&B and hip-hop artists, such as Wu-Tang Clan and Boyz II Men (“One Sweet Day”).

Her continued interest in hip-hop and R&B, including the Sean “Puffy” Combs produced “Honey,” her twelfth No. 1 hit. #1’s (1998) featured her thirteen previous chart-topping singles as well as the Academy Award-nominated “The Prince of Egypt (When You Believe),” a duet with fellow pop diva, Whitney Houston. Carey is also rumored to be pursuing an acting career.

Shakira was born on 2nd February 1977, in Barranquilla, Colombia. With a Lebanese father and Colombian mother, Shakira honors her Latino and Arabic heritage in her music. She wrote her first song at the age of 8 and signed her first record deal at 13. After her first two albums flopped, Shakira took the reins of her third album, becoming involved in every aspect of its production.

She also began singing and, from the start, displayed a unique voice that stood out among her peers. Because of her already developed strong vibrato, she could only sing the solos in school because her voice overpowered her class mates. Some of her school pals would laugh at her singing and called her sound “animal-like.” But Shakira was undeterred by the criticism.

The Festival featured aspiring Latin American singers performing in front of a huge audience and such well-known judges as soon-to-be fellow Latin superstar Ricky Martin. Shakira’s emotional performance of powerful ballad “Eres" (You Are) landed her in third place and began to build her profile outside of Colombia. After taking time to finish high school, Shakira returned to the studio to make her third album, which reflected her various eclectic influences.

Regardless of which direction her interests take her, Shakira will always return to music and to her fans but her place in music history is already secure. According to the United World Chart, with three years to go, she is already the fourth most successful artist of the 2000s. From the Grammys, the Latin Grammys and the MTV Video Music Awards to her role as an ambassador for the UNICEF to her foundations Pies Descalzos and ALAS, Shakira’s contributions have been ambitious and yet, at the same time, she makes them, somehow, appear effortless.

Mila Kunis was born on 14th August 1983 in Kiev, Ukraine, Kunis was raised by her father, Mark, a cab company executive and former mechanical engineer, and her mother, Elvira, a drug store manager and former physics teacher. When she was seven years old, her family moved from the collapsed Soviet Union to the United States.

Where she had an initially rough transition not knowing or understanding the language and the culture. Later, Kunis enrolled in after-school acting classes at Beverly Hills Studios while attending Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School. Discovered by a manager while performing in an acting showcase, the young actress was soon cast in children's programs and television commercials including campaigns for Barbie and Payless shoes.

Eventually, producers figured out that she had fibbed about how old she was, but they also realized Kunis was the best actress to play the part, which she did over the course of the next eight years. Though she tired of playing the same character that long, Kunis nonetheless embraced the experience while continuing to branch out into other areas, including animation when she replaced Lacey Chabert in voicing Meg Griffin on Fox's "Family Guy."

Following supporting turns in the comic book-turned-action movie "The Book of Eli" (2010) and the winning comedy "Date Night" (2010), Kunis was paired opposite Natalie Portman as rival ballet dancers in Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan" (2010). While the lion's share of praise fell on Portman for her role as the more innocent ballerina, Kunis earned her share of accolades for her darker turn, as well as Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress.

Jessica Alba was born on 28th April 1981 in Pomona, California, USA. She was the daughter of a Mexican-American father and a French-Danish mother. Alba's early life was marked by a series of unfortunate physical maladies. In addition to asthma, Alba twice suffered from collapsed lungs, a burst appendix and had to endure pneumonia several times a year.

Luckily, her health eventually took a dramatically positive turn a few years later; an improvement Alba credited to her growing interest in acting. Signed by an agent by the age of 12, Alba made her screen debut with "Camp Nowhere." Alba went on to appear in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney, which led to her landing a recurring role as the young snob, Jessica, in three episodes of the Nickelodeon comedy series, "The Secret World of Alex Mack."

She then performed the role of Maya Graham in the first two seasons of the TV series, "Flipper" (also known as "The New Adventures of Flipper"). Under the tutelage of her lifeguard mother, Alba learned to swim before she could walk and was a PADI-certified scuba diver - skills which were put to use on the show, which was filmed in Australia. As the fresh-faced, enthusiastic and sweet Maya, the part would provide Alba a nice departure from her previous "mean girl" TV efforts.

Alba played Joyce Lakeland, a prostitute and sometime-lover of Affleck's, whom he brutally beats to death on screen. The scene - and a similar one later in the film with Kate Hudson - was so graphic that the film inspired numerous walkouts and angry verbal responses at Sundance, and colored almost every one of the film's mixed reviews. Reports hit the Internet that Alba herself walked out of a screening halfway through, although her rep told the press later that the actress stood by her work and the film, and merely had to catch a flight.

Angelina Jolie is so well known as an iconic sex symbol that she was Hollywood's natural choice for an upcoming 2013 "Cleopatra" remake. Her name is still connected to that project, at least on IMDB, but the "Tourist" star recently remarked during a lunch interview with the Financial Times that she sees more directing and less acting in her crystal ball.

It is obviously something she has discussed with her mate, Brad Pitt, since she includes him in the prognosis, saying they both had a great run and it's now time to look at other endeavors.Pitt has already been actively producing films since 2006, taking a leading role in several of his projects, including his latest, World War Z.

A good omen indeed, but is this a viable career move for the 35-year-old former action star? How many other actresses will ever come close to matching the record of actress and director, Ida Lupino? Lupino was the first female director in Hollywood. Her lengthy directing credits include feature films, including 1953's "The Hitch-Hiker," also the first film noir directed by a woman. She directed episodes of over 30 television series.

She took on the directing challenge in 1991 with "Little Man Tate," also starring in the comedy/drama. Foster's next directing job came in 1995 with "Home for the Holidays." The other cap Foster wore on this one was producer, not actress. "The Beaver" (2011) starring Mel Gibson and Foster, is the latest movie directed by the 48-year-old actress, and she co-starred in it as well.Canadian actress, Sarah Polley also began her acting career as a child and continued successfully into adult roles. She sat in the director's chair for the first time on a couple of shorts in 1991. With 3 other directing credits under her belt, Polley has just completed directing "Take This Waltz," starring Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams and Sarah Silverman.

Anjelica Huston has tried her hand at directing twice, and so has Melissa Gilbert. Their last efforts occurred about a decade ago. Gwyneth Paltrow also tried her hand at directing a short called "Dealbreaker" in 2005.Whether Jolie turns out to be a dabbler or a serious director, "In the Land of Blood and Honey" certainly is an ambitious start, reflecting serious social concerns.

Leonardo DiCaprio topped it for the first time, flying past last year's winner, Johnny Depp. DiCaprio, 36, landed huge paydays for blockbusters Inception and Shutter Island, reportedly earning over $50 million for the former thanks to a contract guaranteeing him a percentage of the profits. It brought Forbes' grand total of the actor's earnings to $77 million between May 2010 and May 2011.

His earnings last year were approximately $75 million, dropped to number two with $50 million. He was trailed by comedian, actor, singer, producer Adam Sandler. The 44-year-old funnyman earned an estimated $40 million last year.

Will Smith and Tom Hanks rounded out the top five with $36 million and $35 million, respectively. On the actresses list, which was released last month, Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker tied for first, both earning $30 million.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon also tied for a close spot behind Jolie, 36, and Parker, 46, earning $28 million each. And even though her career has been in a downswing, Julia Roberts came in fifth with $20 million thanks to her mega-hit Eat, Pray, Love.

In evidence that there's still a huge divide between men and women in Hollywood, the highest-earning actresses raked in less than half of DiCaprio's pay. Each year, Forbes compiles data from agents, lawyers, producers and other industry insiders to estimate actors' earnings.

Rihanna has become one to watch on the red carpet. The 23-year-old definitely knows how to snag the spotlight, whether she's wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo suit (like she did to the 2009 Met Gala) or a see-through Jean-Paul Gaultier gown (like she wore to this year's Grammy Awards). So what inspires her crazy sense of style? The "Umbrella" singer tells all in the September issue of Glamour.

However, Rihanna, who just two-and-a-half years ago was at the center of a domestic violence scandal with then-boyfriend Chris Brown, says she often feels pressured to be perfect for her younger fans. "I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life.... I feel like pop stars can't be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art."

Katy Perry was born on 25th October 1984, in Santa Barbara, California. Known for her over-the-top fashions, quirky stage props, and catchy songs, Katy Perry has become a pop music sensation.Fans might be surprised to learn that the singer who writes about sexual exploration in "I Kissed a Girl" grew up in a very conservative family.

Both of her parents are pastors, and they refused to let her listen to any rock or popular music. "The only things I was allowed to listen to were the Sister Act 1 and 2 soundtracks," Perry told Entertainment Weekly. Perry started taking singing lessons around the age of 9 and learned to play guitar when she was 13. Around this time, she began rebelling against her strict upbringing by piercing her own nose.

She was exposed to other musical influences. One friend introduced her to the music of Queen, which remains one of her favorite groups. "I'm very inspired by Freddie Mercury and how flamboyant and theatrical he was," she told fashion magazine WWD. In high school, she strove to be her own person, choosing not to limit herself to one social group.

She said the single was inspired by the emo scene, and the "guys with guy-liner who use flatirons." Still, her career did not fully take off until the release of her next single, "I Kissed a Girl," which reached the top of the charts during the summer of 2008. With that song's success, her debut album, One of the Boys, made it into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also earned Perry a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Another hair color for Katy Perry, who was spotted in L.A. on Monday with pink locks, a major difference from the blond hair she debuted just last week at "The Smurfs" premiere. Plus, a radiant Sandra Bullock makes a surprise appearance at the premiere of pal Ryan Reynold's new flick.

"The Change-Up" Monday night, and John Stamos posts some pics of himself and Nick Jonas rehearsing for their Hollywood Bowl production of the Broadway musical "Hairspray."

Jennifer Lopez, Her 7-year marriage may have crumbled, and she's now facing a new life as a single mother to two young children, but in her first interview since announcing that she and Marc Anthony are getting divorced Jennifer Lopez tells Vanity Fair that she truly believes in love. "It's still my biggest dream," she says in the magazine's September issue.

Lopez is the pop star, actress, and "American Idol" judge insists that she and her estranged husband both tried at their relationship, but in the end they simply didn't succeed. "I really worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn't work -- and that's sad," she explains. "But I remain an eternal optimist about love.

I am positive -- determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. Since the couple called it quits last month, reports have emerged of Anthony -- a fellow musician -- being an envious and controlling husband, going so far as to have the final say over his wife's wardrobe choices.

She doesn't confirm those details, but hints at the fact that she, indeed, deserved better. "Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me.

Also remembers the good times, including the fact that 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max, were a result of their union. "I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer," she insists in the interview. "We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic and we did.

Lindsay Lohan was born on 2nd July 1986 in New York City, New York, USA. She was the oldest child of four born to mother Dina Lohan, a former Radio City Rockette, and Michael Lohan, a long-time Wall Street trader. Their daughter began modeling at age three and was purported to be the first red-haired child signed by the Ford Modeling Agency.

She also had recurring roles on two daytime dramas - "Guiding Light" (CBS, 1952-2009) and as Ali Fowler on "Another World" (NBC, 1964-1999) - before she landed the first movie role for which she ever auditioned.
