U.S Actress Betty White discuss new TV show: 'Hot in Cleveland'
0 comments Posted by SRAINA at 5:41 PMBetty White and Valerie Bertinelli star in the new TV show 'Hot in Cleveland'.
The octogenarian's new sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" made network history with its premiere Wednesday night (June 16).
The show drew the most viewers and highest ratings for TV Land ever, an average of 4.75 million total viewers. Just to put this into context, ABC Family's premiere of "Pretty Little Liars" drew a decent, but not stellar 2.5 million viewers.
Viewers couldn't get enough of Betty White apparently because the encore presentation following immediately after the premiere still drew 2.4 million total viewers, and among adults 25-54, 1.2 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. Among women 25-54, "Cleveland" attracted a 1.4 rating and 727,000 viewers.
White say I don't know where that breaking point comes. When I started, you just assumed no one knew how old you were. I was, like, 22, and would walk out in front of the studio audience to greet them and they would say, "How old are you?" And I would say, "47," thinking that was old and they would know I wasn't 47. Well, all of a sudden you go from not wanting people to know how old you are to ... "Hi, I'm Betty White. I'm 88 and a half." It is a bragging thing now.
Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels to sing 'Every Rose Has its Thorn' on 'Good Morning America'

Bret Michaels and Miley Cyrus will perform together for the first time on Good Morning America on Friday as part of the show’s summer concert series. The performance will be a live showing and afterwards Cyrus will have a chance to perform on her own singing some of her hits.
The 17-year-old singer and the Poison front man came under fire in February when they performed the suggestive rock-country ballad "Nothing to Lose" together. In the song, the 47-year-old rocker asks Cyrus to "slowly get undressed."
Cyrus is also hitting the concert circuit in time for the release of Tamed on June 21. On Monday, the pop star will fete her album's arrival with a show set to be streamed worldwide across several MTV Networks Music and Logo Group websites. Viewers around the globe can watch the Can't Be Tamed World Premiere Live concert on more than 30 websites, including Miley.MTV.com, Miley.VH1.com, Miley.LogoTV.com and Miley.CMT.com. Fans in nearly 160 countries will have access to the live stream, scheduled to kick off at about 10:30 p.m. ET/ 7:30 p.m. PT.
"I'm so excited to perform my new music live in concert on the night of my album release," Cyrus said in a statement. "Thanks to MTV Networks, my fans from all around the world have the opportunity to be a part of it and experience it with me."
As for Michaels, he has been steering clear of anything that might raise his blood pressure after he suffered a brain hemorrhage and a stroke in April.
After a brief rest, the rocker was back on his feet in time to win "Celebrity Apprentice" and perform on the "American Idol" finale.
He's been lying relatively low since then, so the duet with Cyrus will be his first big televised appearance since the "Idol" performance last month.
As for Cyrus, she isn't slowing down anytime soon. MTV reports that the teen pop star will live stream a world premiere concert next Tuesday, the night that "Can't Be Tamed" arrives in stores.
The stream will begin at 10:30 p.m. ET on June 21st.

U.S.actor Jason Alexander Uses A Girlie Weight Loss Program To Drop 30 Pounds
0 comments Posted by SRAINA at 12:20 PMU.S. actor and Jenny Craig spokesman Jason Alexander has achieved his weight-loss goal of 30 pounds in 18 weeks.
The award-winning actor, who has starred in television, theater and film, celebrates his weight loss in a song-and-dance musical commercial for Jenny Craig during which he dons a tiny black spandex outfit.
As the Jenny Craig spokesperson mentioned at the beginning of the conference, many men looking for diet options are in the same boat as Jason Alexander, but less likely than females to join weight loss programs. "Most men have concerns about Jenny -- eating just Jenny food," said Jason Alexander, "but that's not the case."
Besides saying that the Jenny food was "really good," Jason Alexander told the group that he never felt hungry on the plan. In fact, in the first few weeks, he said he "couldn't even finish all of the Jenny food." Jason Alexander joked that he was Jenny Craig's best client, since he hasn't found anything that he won't eat and let's them "tell me what the hell I need to eat and I'll eat it."
"I was fifty when I started this program, but I felt so much older," said Jason Alexander. "Now I feel as though I'm finally sneaking back into my forties." When That's Fit asked Alexander about his favorite foods on the menu, he said that the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake and the Chicken Fettuccine take the cake. The actor said he has even tried out dishes of his own. "The 'Jason Craig' cookbook should be out soon," he jested.
