Charlize Theron was born on 7th August 1975, in rural Benoni, South Africa, to co-owners of a road construction company, Charles and Gerda. The Afrikaans-speaking family lived on a working farm outside of Johannesburg, and although Theron's childhood chores included tending livestock, her passion for dance became evident early on. To foster her artistic leanings, Theron began ballet lessons at age six.

As Charles struggled with alcoholism, he became physically abusive. In 1991, when Theron was 15, her father violently attacked her and her mother. Theron watched as Gerda shot and killed Charles; the murder was deemed an act of self-defense, and Gerda was never charged with a crime. In the wake of the death, Gerda assumed ownership of the company, and Theron concocted the long-standing story.

In 1994, a destitute Theron argued with a bank teller, who refused to allow her to pull funds from a South African account. Theron's subsequent fit earned the attention of a fellow bank patron John Crosby, a Hollywood manager who represented talent including John Hurt and Rene Russo. He immediately offered to sign Theron and, within months, she made her acting debut in a small role in Children of the Corn III (1995).

The Cider House Rules with Tobey Maguire. In 2001, she reteamed with Reeves for the tearjerker Sweet November, and two years later she starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the heist thriller The Italian Job (2003). However, her performance in 2003's Monster—a biopic about serial killer Aileen Wuornos—earned her widespread respect. Theron gained close to 40 pounds for the role, and her gritty, gripping performance won her both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

Gwen Stefani was born on 3rd October 1969, in Orange County, California. Growing up in Southern California with brothers Todd and Eric where they were raised by parents Dennis and Patti Gwen was highly influenced by the rising popularity of ska and punk that was making its presence felt in the So Cal area.

Stefani recorded her first solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in 2004. The album was primarily inspired by music of the 1980s, and emerged an international success with sales of over seven million. The album's third single "Hollaback Girl" became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. Stefani's second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006) yielded "Wind It Up", a moderate worldwide success, and "The Sweet Escape". Including her work with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.

Eric Stefani, Gwen's brother left the band after the release of Tragic Kingdom to persue a career of his own and was replaced by Phil Jordan and Gabe McNair who went on tour with the band. She used to date bass player in the band Tony Kanal. When they broke up she wrote the hit single "Don't Speak" in memory of their relationship. She wears a necklace with the letter "G" on it representing her boyfriend Gavin Rosedale's initial.

She is still romantically linked with the lead singer of Bush, Gavin Rossdale, and the rock star pair have been involved for at least 5 years. But the spunky singer paired up with Moby to add her infectious voice to his single, "South Side". No doubt about it, the self-proclaimed Sound of Music fanatic brings a girly yet powerful spark to the group, and the music industry.

Just after two months, the big screen pair has called off their romance, Us Weekly reported. He only wanted something casual, but she's in a rush to settle down, have kids and start a family since she's getting older," a mag source claimed.

Star, 34, reportedly initiated the split with the 36-year-old actress. She did not take it very well when he broke it off. She knows deep down that it wouldn't have worked, but she is pretty bummed out about it all," the source continued.

The pair's busy work schedules were also to blame for their romance ending. They're both too busy, a friend of the "Prometheus" actress told the mag. And they were hardly ever together anyway.Ryan and Charlize's romance was first reported in July after the actor's motorcycle was spotted at Charlize's house and he was spotted exiting the home just moments before the actress.

In June, Charlize appeared on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" where she said she was single. She also noted that she was looking for a serious relationship, but not necessarily marriage.I really want for myself a long-term relationship, and I have been in long-term relationships," she said at the time. "That's the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people.I treat my relationships like marriages.
