Angelina Jolie is so well known as an iconic sex symbol that she was Hollywood's natural choice for an upcoming 2013 "Cleopatra" remake. Her name is still connected to that project, at least on IMDB, but the "Tourist" star recently remarked during a lunch interview with the Financial Times that she sees more directing and less acting in her crystal ball.
It is obviously something she has discussed with her mate, Brad Pitt, since she includes him in the prognosis, saying they both had a great run and it's now time to look at other endeavors.Pitt has already been actively producing films since 2006, taking a leading role in several of his projects, including his latest, World War Z.
A good omen indeed, but is this a viable career move for the 35-year-old former action star? How many other actresses will ever come close to matching the record of actress and director, Ida Lupino? Lupino was the first female director in Hollywood. Her lengthy directing credits include feature films, including 1953's "The Hitch-Hiker," also the first film noir directed by a woman. She directed episodes of over 30 television series.
She took on the directing challenge in 1991 with "Little Man Tate," also starring in the comedy/drama. Foster's next directing job came in 1995 with "Home for the Holidays." The other cap Foster wore on this one was producer, not actress. "The Beaver" (2011) starring Mel Gibson and Foster, is the latest movie directed by the 48-year-old actress, and she co-starred in it as well.Canadian actress, Sarah Polley also began her acting career as a child and continued successfully into adult roles. She sat in the director's chair for the first time on a couple of shorts in 1991. With 3 other directing credits under her belt, Polley has just completed directing "Take This Waltz," starring Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams and Sarah Silverman.
Anjelica Huston has tried her hand at directing twice, and so has Melissa Gilbert. Their last efforts occurred about a decade ago. Gwyneth Paltrow also tried her hand at directing a short called "Dealbreaker" in 2005.Whether Jolie turns out to be a dabbler or a serious director, "In the Land of Blood and Honey" certainly is an ambitious start, reflecting serious social concerns.
Rihanna has become one to watch on the red carpet. The 23-year-old definitely knows how to snag the spotlight, whether she's wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo suit (like she did to the 2009 Met Gala) or a see-through Jean-Paul Gaultier gown (like she wore to this year's Grammy Awards). So what inspires her crazy sense of style? The "Umbrella" singer tells all in the September issue of Glamour.
However, Rihanna, who just two-and-a-half years ago was at the center of a domestic violence scandal with then-boyfriend Chris Brown, says she often feels pressured to be perfect for her younger fans. "I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life.... I feel like pop stars can't be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art."
Jennifer Lopez, Her 7-year marriage may have crumbled, and she's now facing a new life as a single mother to two young children, but in her first interview since announcing that she and Marc Anthony are getting divorced Jennifer Lopez tells Vanity Fair that she truly believes in love. "It's still my biggest dream," she says in the magazine's September issue.
Lopez is the pop star, actress, and "American Idol" judge insists that she and her estranged husband both tried at their relationship, but in the end they simply didn't succeed. "I really worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn't work -- and that's sad," she explains. "But I remain an eternal optimist about love.
I am positive -- determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. Since the couple called it quits last month, reports have emerged of Anthony -- a fellow musician -- being an envious and controlling husband, going so far as to have the final say over his wife's wardrobe choices.
She doesn't confirm those details, but hints at the fact that she, indeed, deserved better. "Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me.
Also remembers the good times, including the fact that 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max, were a result of their union. "I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer," she insists in the interview. "We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic and we did.
Lindsay Lohan was born on 2nd July 1986 in New York City, New York, USA. She was the oldest child of four born to mother Dina Lohan, a former Radio City Rockette, and Michael Lohan, a long-time Wall Street trader. Their daughter began modeling at age three and was purported to be the first red-haired child signed by the Ford Modeling Agency.
She also had recurring roles on two daytime dramas - "Guiding Light" (CBS, 1952-2009) and as Ali Fowler on "Another World" (NBC, 1964-1999) - before she landed the first movie role for which she ever auditioned. Playing twins separated at birth - one American and one British - for "The Parent Trap" (1998) remake, she turned in a delightful and skilled performance which led to numerous offers for the youngster.
She began to branch out professionally into other ventures, movie stardom remained the most important and rewarding aspect for Lohan, who was becoming recognized as an emerging big screen talent. Finally making the move to L.A. - where she roomed with child and future tween superstar Raven-Symoné - Lohan's potential was confirmed when she starred in another highly successful remake, "Freaky Friday" (2003) opposite Jamie Lee Curtis.
The judge also revoked Lohan's probation in the previous DUI case and set this bail at $20,000, totaling $40,000. During her February 23rd hearing, Lohan refused to cop a plea and do jail time, instead choosing to go to trial. On April 22, she was sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating her probation, though the charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor, and it was made clear to her she would stand trial for the theft.

Kylie Jenner was born on 10th August 1997.She is the youngest daughter and had her first modeling experience with her sister in Paper Magazine. She continued to model with Sears, OK! Magazine, and Teen Vogue.
It definitely looks like the cameras love both sisters! Rather than be a cheerleader at school like her sister Kendall, Kylie prefers running track just like her Olympic gold medallist dad!
She has said that she especially loves her big sis Khloe’s style because “she wears what she wants and she rocks it. She lets me come over to her house and pick out whatever I want.
I always borrow her jeans.” Kendall adds that their older sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, give them stuff them they’re done with them. “Khloe has my shoe size so I’ve gotten some amazing Louboutins from her. And Kim gave me a black snakeskin Balenciaga bag for my birthday that I’m in love with.
