Summer lovin' happened so fast for Ryan Reynolds and Charlize Theron! After just two months, the big screen pair has called off their romance, Us Weekly reported. He only wanted something casual, but she's in a rush to settle down, have kids and start a family since she's getting older," a mag source claimed.

She didn't take it very well when he broke it off. She knows deep down that it wouldn't have worked, but she is pretty bummed out about it all," the source continued. The pair's busy work schedules were also to blame for their romance ending.

"They're both too busy," a friend of the "Prometheus" actress told the mag. "And they were hardly ever together anyway.Ryan and Charlize's romance was first reported in July after the actor's motorcycle was spotted at Charlize's house and he was spotted exiting the home just moments before the actress.

In June, Charlize appeared on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" where she said she was single. She also noted that she was looking for a serious relationship, but not necessarily marriage.I really want for myself a long-term relationship, and I have been in long-term relationships," she said at the time. "That's the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes trumped The Change-Up at the weekend box office, Box Office Mojo reports. The prequel to the 1969 film, starring James Franco, grossed an estimated $54 million in its first weekend of release. The Smurfs, last weekend's No. 1 film after final figures were in, drew $21 million in its second week. Cowboys & Aliens lassoed $15.7 million to come in third.

The weekend's other new release, The Change-Up, grabbed $13.5 million in its first weekend to take the No. 4 spot. Captain America: The First Avenger came in fifth with $13 million, for a three-week total of $143.2 million.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 raked in $12.16 million, to rank No. 6 (and a total of $342.8 million). Following in seventh place with $12.1 million was Crazy, Stupid, Love.Rounding out the top 10: Friends with Benefits (No. 8, $4.7 million), Horrible Bosses (No. 9, $4.6 million) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (No. 10, $3 million — and a cumulative domestic gross of $344.2 million).

When a reporter inquired as to why the ex-boy band singer was sticking his big toe in the acting pool, Kunis shot back, asking "What sort of question is that? Why are you here?" Not only is it admirable that the hot starlet jumped to her buddy's defense, it's was most fascinating to hear her do it in Russian. Many of her fans may not realize that she was born in the Ukraine and English is her second language.

Some were born outside the United States and speak another language, while others learned foreign languages in school. While none of us are surprised to hear that stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, America Ferrara or Jean-Claude Van Damme speak a language other than English, others may surprise you.Kim Cattrall is best known for playing the role of saucy Samantha Jones in the "Sex and the City" TV shows and movies. Many fans do not know that the actress speaks fluent German. During the 1980s, she was married to her second husband, Andre J. Lyson. During the course of their relationship, the couple lived in Frankfurt.

He also has proven that he has a knack for mastering a foreign language. When the sports superstar was just a lad, his dad uprooted the family and moved them to Italy in pursuit of his own basketball career. While frolicking on the playgrounds in Italy, the future LA Laker learned speak Italian.Unlike Cattrall and Bryant, English is a second language to Charlize Theron, not the first. The "Monster" star was born in South Africa, and her first words were uttered in Afrikaans. She didn't learn English until she was a teenager, acquiring a mastery of the language watching American TV shows. Interesting fact.

Many Japanese language courses while attending school. After graduation, the star of "The Incredible Hulk" moved to Osaka, Japan to work as a consultant for his grandfather's business. While not 100% fluent, the actor doesn't seem like he'll ever have a problem ordering saki and sashimi on his next East Asian excursion.Jodie Foster attended a fancy French-language prep school, eventually graduating as her class' valedictorian. Thanks to her education, she is now fluent in French and speaks it perfectly without an accent.

Shakira was born on 2nd February 1977, in Barranquilla, Colombia. With a Lebanese father and Colombian mother, Shakira honors her Latino and Arabic heritage in her music. She wrote her first song at the age of 8 and signed her first record deal at 13. After her first two albums flopped, Shakira took the reins of her third album, becoming involved in every aspect of its production.

She also began singing and, from the start, displayed a unique voice that stood out among her peers. Because of her already developed strong vibrato, she could only sing the solos in school because her voice overpowered her class mates. Some of her school pals would laugh at her singing and called her sound “animal-like.” But Shakira was undeterred by the criticism.

The Festival featured aspiring Latin American singers performing in front of a huge audience and such well-known judges as soon-to-be fellow Latin superstar Ricky Martin. Shakira’s emotional performance of powerful ballad “Eres" (You Are) landed her in third place and began to build her profile outside of Colombia. After taking time to finish high school, Shakira returned to the studio to make her third album, which reflected her various eclectic influences.

Regardless of which direction her interests take her, Shakira will always return to music and to her fans but her place in music history is already secure. According to the United World Chart, with three years to go, she is already the fourth most successful artist of the 2000s. From the Grammys, the Latin Grammys and the MTV Video Music Awards to her role as an ambassador for the UNICEF to her foundations Pies Descalzos and ALAS, Shakira’s contributions have been ambitious and yet, at the same time, she makes them, somehow, appear effortless.

Mila Kunis was born on 14th August 1983 in Kiev, Ukraine, Kunis was raised by her father, Mark, a cab company executive and former mechanical engineer, and her mother, Elvira, a drug store manager and former physics teacher. When she was seven years old, her family moved from the collapsed Soviet Union to the United States.

Where she had an initially rough transition not knowing or understanding the language and the culture. Later, Kunis enrolled in after-school acting classes at Beverly Hills Studios while attending Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School. Discovered by a manager while performing in an acting showcase, the young actress was soon cast in children's programs and television commercials including campaigns for Barbie and Payless shoes.

Eventually, producers figured out that she had fibbed about how old she was, but they also realized Kunis was the best actress to play the part, which she did over the course of the next eight years. Though she tired of playing the same character that long, Kunis nonetheless embraced the experience while continuing to branch out into other areas, including animation when she replaced Lacey Chabert in voicing Meg Griffin on Fox's "Family Guy."

Following supporting turns in the comic book-turned-action movie "The Book of Eli" (2010) and the winning comedy "Date Night" (2010), Kunis was paired opposite Natalie Portman as rival ballet dancers in Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan" (2010). While the lion's share of praise fell on Portman for her role as the more innocent ballerina, Kunis earned her share of accolades for her darker turn, as well as Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress.

Leighton Meester is involved in a catfight, but it’s not in her CW show “Gossip Girl.” Instead, it’s in the courts. She & Mom Battle struck first, filing a lawsuit in Superior Court of Los Angeles on Friday against her mother, Constance Meester, accusing her mom of taking money she sent for her younger brother, who suffers from various illnesses, and using it for cosmetic improvements.

She claims in her suit that she began voluntarily paying for health insurance for her mother and her brother, Lex, and sent Constance around $7,500 a month for her younger sibling’s living and other expenses.According to the actress’ suit, she believes her mother “has been using the money… to pay for cosmetic procedures for herself, including plastic surgery on her face and stomach, botox injections for her face, fillers for her hands and hair extensions.

She claims that after she stopped sending money to her mom, Constance began claiming the two had an oral agreement for the actress to support her at a sum of $10,000 a month for the rest of her life. The “Gossip Girl” star wants a judgment to determine there is no oral agreement, an award of legal fees over this suit and any other monies the court awards.

Other complaints, claiming the actress broke off an oral agreement to pay her an initial sum of $30,000 plus another $10,000 a month plus health insurance, and care for her younger brother’s health needs.“As a direct result of Leighton’s breach,” Constance’s filing reads, “there are no funds to feed and care for Alexander.

Leighton Meester goes on to claim the actress promised to take care of Constance and Alexander, pay for his school and buy them a home.Constance is seeking an undisclosed amount of damages at a trial.

Taylor Swift must have been really sick from bronchitis to cancel several shows on her Speak Now tour. No worries, though, because just three weeks later, the 21-year-old was back on stage singing the last of four sold-out performances in Newark, New Jersey.

But just as Speak Now is a very different album than Fearless, her current tour is a departure, too," the newspaper wrote. "With it, she is taking two steps toward in her future as an artist. She made both strides with confidence."

She had been on the road since February, and she's not scheduled to get a break anytime soon. Her tour continues in the United States through November. Look for Swift to hit Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Thursday, and Indianapolis on Friday.

Mila Kunis is definitely going to the Marine Corps Ball with Sgt. Scott Moore in November.Chances are, she won't be setting up any appointments with "Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush anytime soon, though.

The "Friends With Benefits" beauty lashed out at Bush during a stop on the press tour for her new film on Thursday, revealing that Bush had made up reports that she was canceling her date with Moore, who propositioned her on YouTube, due to professional obligations.

"Do not believe what Billy Bush says," Kunis said during a press conference with co-star Justin Timberlake at her side. "Please, I beg of you. Never did I say that I was not going. He made it up and people believed it, unfortunately."Bush sparked outrage across the Internet earlier this week when he reported that, contrary to Kunis' vow, she wouldn't be able to attend the ball, November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina. According to Bush, Kunis will be filming two movies in November, and thus wouldn't be able to make the date.

The whole saga began earlier this month, when Timberlake told Kunis of Moore's date request, which the Marine -- who's currently stationed in Afghanistan -- posted on YouTube. At Timberlake's urging, the "Black Swan" star declared that she would accept the date.

Zooey Deschanel was born on 17th January 1980 in Los Angeles, CA. She and her older actress sister, Emily, were raised by their father, Caleb, an Oscar-winning cinematographer and their mother, actress Mary Jo. Deschanel, whose first name was taken from the male Zooey Glass character of J.D.

Salinger's story Franny and Zooey, often spent her young years hanging out on film set locations - despite the fact that deep down, Deschanel wished for a typical, sedentary family home life. Despite this fact, by the time she was old enough to know what acting was, she wanted to be an actress, but her parents rejected the idea, telling her she would have to wait until she had a driver's license to get her around town.

Deschanel attended the elite prep school Crossroads in Santa Monica, CA alongside future co-stars Kate Hudson and Jake Gyllenhaal, where she discovered an interest in singing and musical theater; at one point, considering a career in jazz singing on Broadway. At 16, she appeared as Little Red Riding Hood in the North Hollywood-based Interact Theatre Company's production of "Into the Woods.

The subsequent "Gospel According to Janis" (2008) - one of several competing Joplin films - promised to usher the singer-actress into a new level of recognition. Before that project went into production, she starred in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening" (2008), a dark apocalyptic thriller about a family that flees a natural disaster threatening humanity's very existence.

Jennifer Lopez was born on 24th July 1970, in the Bronx, New York. Lopez began her career as a dancer, appearing in stage musicals and various music videos. In 1990, she won a national competition and earned a spot dancing on the popular Fox comedy television series, "In Living Color," as one of the "Fly Girls." A series of small acting jobs followed, including parts in two more series and a TV movie, Nurses on the Line.

She is the first big break came in 1997, when she was chosen to play the title role in Selena, a biopic of the Tejano pop singer Selena Quintillana Perez, who was killed by a crazed fan in 1995. She earned widespread praise for her performance, including a Golden Globe nomination, and became the highest-paid Latina actress in history with her paycheck of $1 million. That same year, Lopez starred in the forgettable Anaconda and in Blood and Wine, opposite Jack Nicholson.

Early in 2000, Lopez was nominated for Best Dance Performance for her second hit single "Waiting for Tonight," but lost the award to veteran diva Cher. In the summer of 2000, she starred in the science fiction-thriller The Cell, in which she plays a child psychologist helping to track a terrifying serial killer. The same year, she starred in Enough, a portrayal of spousal abuse.

Lopez has recently found time to join forces with her husband. She acts along side him in the 2006 film El Cantante, which stars Marc Anthony as Hector Lavoe, the internationally acclaimed salsa singer. True to life, Lopez plays Puchi, Lavoe's wife.

Jane Lynch was born 0n 14th July 1960, and grew up in Dolton, IL, just south of Chicago. As a kid, she was obsessed with the movie "Grease" (1978), not only because she wanted to become an actress, but because she harbored a crush on both of the film's stars, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

She earned a bachelor's degree in theater from Illinois State University and went on to intensive graduate acting studies at Cornell University, where concentrated classes pushed her range beyond expectation, helping lay the groundwork for her to inhabit any character a casting director could throw at her.

Her first notoriety came when she transformed into Carol Brady for "The Real Live Brady Bunch," an indie theater phenomena that staged reenactments of actual episodes of the 1970s sitcom. Lynch toured with the quirky hit for over a year and a half, performing for months at a time in New York City, L.A., and Chicago.

In the spring of that year she and longtime partner psychologist Lara Embry were married in a small ceremony in Massachusetts. The following year, Lynch was once again competing with Vergara, when the actresses were each nominated for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award in identical categories. Lynch went on to win the Golden Globe.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might finally be tying the knot. Question now is -- where will they get married?Venue choices for the occasion are vast for the millionaire couple who have been together for six years ever since they worked together on Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

France is the exotic location that several sources believe is a prime spot for the two to have their wedding. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have recently renovated their Chateau Miraval in Correns, France which comes complete with a 16th century chapel. It seems like a wonderful setting.

Chances are, according to sources, that the wedding will be low-key and will probably focus on including the children who obviously want to see their parents married. So, maybe this time it's for real and whether it happens in France or another place, the wedding will most certainly be beautiful.

Steven Tyler is experiencing a comeback of sorts due to his new gig as "American Idol" judge (while keeping show's producers ready to jump on the censor button due to his wild, say-anything critique approach!) - and the Aerosmith frontman says he's loving every second of his career's explosive resurgence.

Steven, who has admittedly battled with substance abuse in the past, now proudly boasts a year-and-a-half of sobriety, according to People -- a feat he partially credits to the excitement of his reality show gig."I don't snort J. Lo either, though I do breathe her in," he added of his fellow "Idol" judge, Jennifer Lopez.

Left up to my own devices, I probably would have been dead several times over," he told People. In addition to serving as a Season 10 "Idol" judge, Steven has penned a memoir, "Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?" which is slated for release on May 3.

The 63-year-old artist will also appear in an interview on NBC's "Dateline" with Matt Lauer on Sunday at 7 PM.Catch the full Rolling Stone and People interviews with Steven when both magazines hit newsstands on Friday.

Mila Kunis asked the data systems technician gained fame — and apparently a date — when he posted a video on YouTube last week inviting the "Black Swan" star to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C., in November. The annual event marks the founding of the Marines in 1775.

Her publicist, Melissa Raubvogel, had no comment Tuesday.Moore said Tuesday that he made the video after a fellow Marine bet he wouldn't.Standing on a base in Afghanistan and wearing his uniform and black sunglasses, he says on the 19-second video: "Hey Mila. It's Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott. I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, N.C., with yours truly. So take a second, think about it and get back to me."

The corps' anniversary ball is one of the most important events on a Marine's calendar, according to spokeswoman Capt. Kendra Hardesty. Balls are held at bases and less formal celebrations by units in the field to mark the Nov. 10, 1775, founding of the branch.Balls at garrisons are formal affairs, following a ceremony established in 1952. At each ball, the Marine Corps commandant's birthday message is read, along with a 1921 order issued by Maj. Gen. John A. Lejeune summarizing the tradition and mission of the corps.

Kunis won't be the first celebrity to attend a Marine birthday ball. Other Hollywood stars who've attended over the years include action film actor Chuck Norris and R. Lee Ermey, a retired Marine whose most famous role was an intense drill instructor in the film "Full Metal Jacket."

Jaycee Dugard says she didn't know she was pregnant when she gave birth to her first child."I didn't know I was in labor," she told Diane Sawyer on Primetime.

I saw her,It was very painful, then — she was beautiful," Dugard said. "I felt like I wasn't alone anymore. I had somebody that was mine. I wasn't alone and I knew I could never let anything happen to her. I didn't know how I was going to do that but I did."

Meg Ryan was born on 19th November 1961. Her parents - both elementary school teachers - raised their family in Fairfield, CT until their divorce when Ryan was a teen. Growing up, Ryan was a fan of the classic Hollywood glamour queens from the 1930s and 1940s, though she, herself, was a preppy suburban teen with dreams of pursuing journalism as a career.

She was working towards a journalism degree at New York University when she first got into show business, initially appearing in commercials to make some money. During her final year of school, the acting opportunities were too numerous to turn down and she left school to pursue them full time.

She made her film debut at age 20 playing Candice Bergen's teen daughter in the female-centric feature "Rich and Famous" (1981) before turning to TV, where a few made-for-TV movie performances led to a recurring role on the short lived sitcom "One of the Guys" (NBC, 1982), starring Mickey Rooney and a young Dana Carvey.

Based on her relatively successful repositioning and movieg rs' limited recollection of Ryan's earlier fall from favor, the actress lined up further screen projects, including the feature directorial debut from Cheryl Hines, the dark comedy "Serious Moonlight" (2009), where Ryan starred as a high-powered attorney who gets even with her philandering husband.

Kristen Bell was born 18th July 1980, Bell was raised in a suburb of Detroit, MI. She fell in love with performing at a very early age, and landed onstage in a local production at age 11. By age 13, she had secured an agent and was appearing in print advertising for local retailers; eventually working her way up to local television commercials.

With her sights firmly set on an acting career, Bell went on to study musical theater at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts. In 2001, while still a student, she made her Broadway debut playing Becky Thatcher in a musical version of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." She also appeared off-Broadway in an adaptation of the legendary 1930s public service announcement film, "Reefer Madness: The Musical," in the lead role of Mary Lane.

Clever writing and direction and a terrific cast helped earn "Veronica Mars" popularity among critics and a substantial cult following, though not quite enough to make the show a breakout hit. For her part, Bell won numerous award nominations, including from the Teen Choice Awards and TV Critics Association.

Reprising her flair for romantic comedy, Bell took a starring role as a tourist whose offhanded visit to a famed fountain of love in Rome leads to her unexplained pursuit by half a dozen men when she returns to New York in "When in Rome" (2010).

Even though Reon was expected to continue in her career as a regular gravure idol, she catered to her fans' wants at the age of 18 by releasing her first nude photobook, Hadaka no Reon.Reon then continued on as a common gravure idol and chose not to pose nude anymore.
