U.S singer Mariah Carey is set to assist Simon Cowell at the judge's houses rounds of US 'X Factor'.

The X Factor creator said back in April that Carey would have a small part in the U.S. show premiering in September, but now she may be headed for a more substantial, full-time gig with the reality competition

However, 42-year-old Sinitta - who previously dated Brad Pitt - is not happy with the decision.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Well, let's just say feathers will fly if Mariah takes my spot. Although she is a mega diva vocally, you can expect another 'X Factor' USA drama. I won't just roll over and take it. I hope she can run in high heels.'

In April, Simon spoke of his desire to have Mariah involved with the programme, but admitted he was unsure in what capacity.

He said: 'I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with

The audition stages of the 'The X Factor' are currently taking place, with British singer Cheryl Cole sensationally sacked from the programme after taking part in just four episodes, to be replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Hollywood Star Julia Roberts Hot photo gallery

Last year, Julia Roberts was in India to film Eat, Pray Love and converted to Hinduism.

Now back in the US, the pretty woman admits that Hinduism has always intrigued her and along with husband, Danny Moder and their three children
“My children love it. Hazel says that when she grows up, she’s going to live in India. To be in India is to experience it. You don’t have to go looking for India, it’s all right there. For me, visiting the country was an unforgettable experience,” she asserts.
Do her children realise that mommy is a big movie star? “No, they don’t know what I do yet and I like it that way. I want movies to stay special for them for as long as possible. My daughter said to me the other day that Maria in The Sound Of Music sounded a lot like Mary Poppins. I told her that it was because they’re both English,” she chuckles.

Julia is now playing the wicked witch in Snow White. How are the kids going to react to her new role? “This movie came about more out of my interest and a desire to be on board with Tarsem Singh, the director, who is brilliant. His idea of cinema is from another planet altogether,” she raves. “His take on the familiar fairytale is fascinating, what with the sets, the story etc, Tarsem’s version of the Evil Queen is just going to be so fun.”

Save your money.

The actors may be pretty, but the film is about as dull as a doorknob. That's the consensus from critics regarding The Bounty Hunter, starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, which opens this weekend.

The new romantic comedy has been blasted by 9 out of ten film critics, with most agreeing the script is at best unfunny and at worst cringe-inducing.

As the story goes, Milo Boyd (Butler) is having a rough go of things as a bounty hunter. But his luck appears to change when his next job places him on the trail of his ex-wife, the bail-jumping reporter Nicole Hurly (Aniston).

The old flames play a game of cat-and-mouse, only to find themselves back together and running for their lives.

Of course, critics could care less.

Roger Ebert said he "stared with glazed eyes at The Bounty Hunter. Here is a film with no need to exist."

Wesley Morris of the Boston Globe said the movie's title was similar to A&E's show Dog The Bounty Hunter. "Is it wrong to find that show funnier and more romantic?" he asked.

And the film's two stars, Butler and Aniston, who have been deflecting rumors of off-screen romance for months now, can't seem to muster enough on-screen romance to satisfy critics.

Claudia Puig from USA Today said they don't "muster any believable chemistry. A lot of mugging happens, but no magic."

Still, regardless of what the critics say, if you're a fan of Aniston and/or Butler you should probably run out and see The Bounty Hunter. Just don't say we didn't warn you.
